Mother’s Recipe Khaman Dhokla Instant Mix 180 Gm
Shelf life 9 months.
Dhokla a very popular Gujrati delicacy, well known for its irresistible taste and flavour. Prepared using only the freshest ingredients and a Mother’s magical touch.
- Cooking Instructions – 1) Take entire contents in a vessel after removing the Baking Powder Sachet given inside.
- 2) Add 1 cup (200 ml) water, 2 tbsp oil (25ml) in to Khaman Dhokla Instant Mix to prepare smooth batter. Keep this batter aside for 2-3 min. 3) Take the contents of Baking Powder Sachet in a quarter cup (about 50ml) of water mix well and add to the batter. Immediately stir the batter.
- 4) Immediately pour batter in to dhokla thali or tray greased with oil.
- 5) Steam on high flame for 15 minutes. If pressure cooker is used do not apply weight/whistle. Remove & allow to cool for 10 minutes. Cut in to 4 -5 cm cubes.
- 6)For vaghar: Heat 2 tbsp oil, add 1tsp mustard seed when mustard crackles add 2 chopped green chilli, ½ tsp sesame seed and pinch of hing. Stop heating. Add 1 tsp sugar & 4 -5 tbsp water. Bring to boil & pour evenly on Dhokla.
- 7) Garnish with Fresh Grated Coconut & Chopped Green Coriander leaves.
(Khaman Dhokla Instant Mix & Baking Powder Sachet) – Gram Flour, Sugar, Semolina, Raising agent (INS 500 (ii)), Acidity regulators (INS 330 & INS 262 (i)), Edible common salt and Turmeric.
